Blackmores Ltd. manufacturers of Pregnancy and Breastfeeding GOLD is a key sponsor of The ATF.
At least 50% pregnant women are now iodine deficient. Without a daily intake of at least 250 ugs of iodine, supplement dose 150 ugs, the brain development of the foetus and newborn can be impaired.
From research, Blackmores has developed a formula which includes all the necessary ingredients a pregnant or breastfeeding women needs during this period.
The correct amount of iodine is included in the formula, which gives reassurance to all women during childbearing, they are doing everything possible to ensure their baby has the best.

Sigma Pharmaceuticals are makers of thyroxine replacement hormone, Oroxine and Eutroxsig. Sigma Pharmaceuticals provide sponsorship to The ATF. Sigma’s contribution has made it possible for the ATF to provide a Medication Travel Pack for thyroid patients a reality. These packs are sold through the ATF and are available on line in the ATF Shop.
Ensuring the medication is kept cool whilst travelling, gives patients the assurance their medication will not spoil or be effected by heat or light.
Genzyme Australasia
Genzyme manufacturers of Thyrogen, a man made recombinant human thyroid-stimulating hormone (rhTSH) treatment. This treatment is available for thyroid cancer patients.
Genzyme Australasia provide sponsorship to The ATF.
This treatment gives patients the option of staying on thyroid replacement hormone during Radioactive Iodine Ablation, Treatment and Follow Up Scans.

Btom Chartered Accountants
Thomas Bombotas from Btom Chartered Accountants, provide the ATF with ongoing accountancy on a pro-bono basis. Thomas and his staff have been providing this service and expertise since 2008 and are always available to guide the ATF on financial matters and prepare an End of Year Financial Report to be audited before presented to ASIC.
Btom Chartered Accountants service gives the ATF assurance our organisation’s financial reporting is accurate and the support given is greatly appreciated.

Oz Design Furniture
Darcy Shedden and her team from Oz Design Furniture, made it possible for The ATF to complete the first refurbishment of two Radio Active Iodine Treatment Rooms at Royal North Shore Hospital St. Leonards, NSW.
The ATF’s Gold Bow Day, highlights the increase of Thyroid Cancer in Australia. Money raised from the sale of ATF Gold Bows goes towards upgrading Radio Active Iodine Treatment Rooms in Public Hospital around Australia for thyroid cancer patients.
With the support of Oz Design Furniture the reality of the first two rooms was possible. Darcy and her team provided furniture for the two rooms, which has improved thyroid cancer patient’s wellbeing whilst undergoing treatment.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with Oz Design Furniture.
Macarthur House
Phillippa at Macarthur House provide The ATF with very reasonably priced office accommodation. The office is pleasant, with easy access. It is a pleasure for the ATF to be part of the Macarthur House family.
The ATF Answering Service is also housed at Macarthur House. Phillippa’s team are helpful and efficient. The ATF has been using this service since 1996. This answering service makes it possible for our members and enquirers to know their call will be answered on The ATF behalf.

Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club
The ATF has held The ATF Annual General Meetings at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club since 2008. The support Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club provide for the ATF for these meetings has been most accommodating and appreciated.
The Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club staff members have always been available to organise equipment and afternoon tea on the day, making it a pleasure for everyone.
