The ATF is a not-for-profit organisation with charity status
All members of the ATF Working Committee are unpaid volunteer members who give their time to oversee the day to day running of the organisation, contribute to decision making and improve services and outcomes for members

All Members of the working committee must be current members of The ATF and hold membership for at least one year before joining The Working Committee
All ATF members are welcome to join the working committee. Please make contact to discuss your ideas and becoming a member of the committee. The committee would appreciate hearing from you.

VOLUNTEERS
The ATF is always in need of volunteers to help the organisation. Without volunteers the ATF would not exist
Everyone has a talent or speciality which could be put to good use to support The ATF, such as:
- Newsletter Editor for “Thyroid News” newsletter
- Marketing Ideas to improve the ATF image and attract sponsorship
- Office Support at our Parramatta NSW Head Office
- Host an ATF Big Breakfast as a fundraiser for The ATF and raise awareness of the importance of Good Thyroid Health through iodine enriched foods
- Host an ATF Gold Bow Event by selling Gold Bows in your workplace
- Organiser a fundraiser and donate money raised to The ATF
- Become an ATF Member and organise Member Meetings in your local area (More information in Member’s Section)
- Help organise events, such as Thyroid Information Sessions in your area
