The ATF is a national member-based organisation, with every cent of membership fees and donations going towards supporting and educating members and the general public on the importance of Good Thyroid Health.
The ATF is a registered charity, not-for-profit organisation which is run solely by volunteers who give their time to provide members with many benefits and services.

All money raised from Gold Bow Sales will go towards improving the environment of Radio-Active Iodine (RAI) Treatment Rooms in Public Hospitals around Australia. Thyroid Cancer Patients are isolated in these rooms for 3 – 4 days after surgery to remove the diseased thyroid gland. Patients swallow a RAI capsule to kill any remaining thyroid cancer cells, therefore the need for isolation.
Thyroid Cancer has increased by 84% in women and 40% in men over the past 10 years. The RAI Treatment Rooms are miserable and unpleasant.
The ATF intend to make them more homely and comfortable with new furniture, furnishing, paint, TV, DVD’s etc. Your support is greatly appreciated.
